If you are coming down for the Summer the best way to get a job is to roll up for a weekend in March / April and fill out applications right in the actual places of business. Jobs are filled during this time and it can be hard to come into town and pick up work in the beginning of summer. Rarely do business employ blindly in OC. If you are looking for a job right now I recommend the same. There is usually a turn around in late June as well. It is sometimes a waste of time to just send your resume in since there are so many people doing the same.
Check out the guides on this site. There is a complete listing of phone #s for every business in Ocean City…. It never hurts to cold call in the winter. It doesn’t seem as though many jobs are posted in the local paper in the winter other than places like the Clarion, Home Depot, and other large businesses.
