we are in ocean city can go to delaware two children one teen grandma and a mom - need something not too strenuous

Not too far from Ocean City is Assateague Island, and most of it is self guided, but they may offer tours through the reserve. And you can also find boat rentals/rides along the bay as soon as you cross the bridge. Most of these take you out into the ocean along the shore line. Hope this helps.
