7 of us (4 adults, 3 kids ages 1, 2, and 4) are headed to OC the last week in August. Any MUST do's or MUST sees that can be recommended?

Oh man... where to start... the boardwalk with all the great shops along it, of course! And while on there- you MUST try Thrasher's French Fries! (Don't you DARE ask for Ketchup! LOL! It's salt 'n vinegar all the way!) Then there's the classic stuff, like getting Old Time Photos done... the kids should REALLY like that! There's also places where you can go on speed boat rides over the ocean. You gotta get some Candy Kitchen Fudge and Carmel Corn! Mmmm! Also, there's the Trimpers Rides (mostly kiddie stuff) and there's the pier rides, Ripley's Believe it or not museum and of course the beach! While you're on the beach, DEFFINATELY get some scope pictures done. They have people walking up and down the beach that come over to you, but you can always approach them. They'd be more then happy to do it for you! Some good restaurants are- Big Peckers, Dough Roller, Hall's Buffet, Bonfire, M.R. Ducks Restaurant and Bar and BJ's. You've got to do the Old Pro Putt-Putt. There's also the Jolly Roger amusement park and there's a great water park next to it and go karts. Outside of OC is Frontier Town Western Amusement Park and Assateague Island National Park. Both great day trip type outtings. My husband and I usually take a day trip to nearby Rohoboth Beach and the outlets for tax-free shopping. I recommend going to www.ococean.com and requesting a free travelers book ASAP! I get one every year, even if I'm not going to OC! LOL! Hope this helped! Have fun! =)

  1. chrisparypa: I would say... Old Time photo yes thats great idea but scope pictures its wasting a money better find professional photographer u`ll get real pictures and great service scopes and not good idea... Thrasher's French Fries... ohhh yeee best fries ever !! I had sky ride couple days ago, its kind of expensive but worthy... beach from the sky and ocean city looks really niceee...
  2. OCfan16: Yeah, the scopes aren't the best quality photos for hard-core photographers, but I do enjoy the convenience of hooking them onto my keys and showing people my awesome vacation downy ocean! It's all about having fun and I must personally say, that my family and friends have a lot of fun posing for those photos and the people that take them are always friendly and funny! I think that their small kids would find it enjoyable too.

I'm too chicken to do sky rides! I'll wave from the beach! =)
