When do the rides on the boardwalk close for the winter, and the beach itself is open for swim after labor day on to what date...?

The rides are open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. The beach is open year round, although I think you might want to stop swimming in the ocean mid-October and on... the water is cold enough (to me!) during the summer... I can only imagine how cold it is at the end of fall. I know the lifegaurds are on duty from I believe 10 am to 5 pm during the summer... not sure if they are after Labor Day weekend... if not, swim at your own risk!
