im considering moving to OC, is it hard to find a job in the winter?

Like all relocations, plan on having some extra money in savings. Job availability depends on the type of work you are willing to do. The jobs most available are labor positions in the housing industry followed by food service, Walmart, Homedepot, etc.. If you are hoping for a desk job somewhere you may need to hang tight in another job until you find the right position. Theres always Salisbury too if you don't mind a 1/2 hour commute to work.

Many people become year round residents every year. Many fail not because they couldn't find work but because they couldn't get used to the juxtaposition between summer life in OC and the much much slower pace of winter.

I moved here 14 years ago and never looked back. Its a great place to live at any age.
