If I'm staying on 56th St., how long would it take to go to the convention center on the week of 7-14-07? We have a dance competition, could we walk?

The convention center is on 41st Street. So you are only staying 15 blocks away. You could walk if you want, that way you wouldn't have to shuttle all of your kids in the vans and then find a place to park. It seems like alot of people do that, that stay near the convention center. If you do want to shuttle them over it would take you less then 5 minutes to do so and then you would have to find a spot to park, which really should not be that hard, because there is plenty of parking provided.

balisa: No, Im not staying there .Go to vrbo.com, thats rentals by owners...You also sometimes can find properties by their name through cbvactions.com..the only bad thing is you have to pay a charge for using coldwell banker. We ended up using them because Tamarindo was all booked up when we were going so the owner told me about cbvacations and they had openings but I had to go through them.It would be worth checking it out..
