I want to sell my condo in OC and I am searching for realtors that will work for less than the 3% commission, any ideas?

If you are going to list your condo as a "For Sale By Owner" most agents would accept a 3% commission for bringing you a buyer as a "Buyer's Representative". Keep in mind they would be working for their buyer and have their best interests in mind. If you are going to list with a broker however, most agents will charge a full commission since they will be cooperating with other brokers who bring a buyer to the property. Trying to discount a commission will only result in less services the broker is able to provide, since they are providing marketing expertise "free of charge" until they bring you an acceptable offer. Even though it may seem like a lot of money, most homes sold by a broker result in higher dollars. Buyers looking at FSBO's are looking for a deal too and will generally take off 6 - 7% from what they would offer since they know you aren't paying a commission to a broker.
