I will be crossing the Bay Bridge, I hear that it gets backed up. What time would be a good time for crossing it without much traffic on Saturday?

THe best times to travel on the Bay Bridge according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

Thursdays – before 2 p.m. and after 7 p.m.
Fridays – before noon and after 10 p.m.
Saturdays – before 7 a.m. and after 5 p.m.
Sundays and holiday Mondays – before 11 a.m. and after 10 p.m.

From personal experience I would say you definitely want to be heading across before 9am on a Saturday. The earlier the better.

It's not just the Bay Bridge that gets backed up. Its also the traffic lights by the Rt. 50 outlets, Easton and Cambridge. You can also expect to find backups 6 miles away from the city limits on rt. 50 and rt. 90. These start happening around 11am.

Our advice to you. LEAVE EARLY!!!
