were can you go claming in oc md for free

i m comming down for a week and would like to go claming for free and on my own just to try it out

Tone of places if you have a boat but they are hard to get to by land... You can always go on the east side of the bridge going to Assateague Island. You may need to park in the State park and walk over but I always see people clamming in that area

In the bay. If you look off of the Rt 50 bridge, to your right (when heading out of OC), you can see the large sandbars that are great for claming.
