a question about jelly fish..... im going to ocean city md in aug will there be alot of jelly fish around then???

noooo... I would say nothing crazy... big chance to see some in the ocean like always but nothing to worry about....

I usually avoid the ocean in mid to late August because that is when the jellyfish are most plentiful.

I just heard yesterday (13 July) that they were starting to be spotted at Delaware beaches. I was in Ocean City last week (and am also going the first week in Aug)....and there were NOT any yet...not even in the bay (FYI...they always show up in the bay before the ocean because it is warmer water in the bay).
